We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our order fulfillment operations, particularly in the e-commerce sector.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and manage stock within the warehouse.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them correctly.
• Assist with order picking to fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the distribution center.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

• Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management.
• Experience in order fulfillment processes within a distribution center environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous experience in e-commerce logistics is a plus.
• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
