We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of event planning and coordination. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced events team to help organize and execute a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, and community festivals.

Job: Full time

Monday to Friday

Weekends free

Pay Range:

$25.50 - $34.00 hourly

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of various events such as corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings.
• Coordinate with vendors, venues, and clients to ensure all event details are met and exceeded.
• Help with logistical arrangements including transportation, catering, and equipment rental.
• Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the day of the event.
• Maintain and organize event files, schedules, and budgets to ensure all information is readily available.
• Assist in the development of event marketing materials, including invitations, social media posts, and signage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
• Demonstrated interest in event planning through internships, volunteer work, or relevant coursework is advantageous.
