This position is eligible to telework up to three (3) days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. This is subject to change based on operational need and/or future return to office orders. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under the general direction of the Senior Industrial Hygienist, the Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) in the Facilities Management Division (FMD), Environmental Health & Safety Unit is responsible for managing and engaging in the overall environmental compliance operations for Facilities Management Division (FMD) statewide in accordance with department rules and regulations.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.
