FAA Part 107 is REQUIRED*** A highly reputable client located in Bay Point, CA is currently hiring for a Drone Pilot. This is a small, but growing and innovative tech team revolutionizing the delivery with drones. As a Drone Pilot, you will play a key role in executing the autonomous delivery initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Position - Drone Pilot Location - 100% Onsite at Bay Point, CA (with occasional travel to Oakland, CA) Pay - $30/hr. (There is no room for negotiation of pay) Schedule - Standard Monday - Friday Morning Shift (40 Hours a Week) 12-Month Contract (With possibility to convert to permanent employee earlier) (Responsibilities) + Operate and fly drones as part of cutting-edge delivery operations. + Support the logistics and execution of drone delivery projects. + Gain hands-on experience in operations and technology, working independently with minimal day-to-day oversight. + Embrace new challenges and grow in a rapidly evolving field where adaptability and enthusiasm are essential. FAA Part 107 is REQUIRED*** + Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate with 50+ hours of UAS flight time. + Great understanding of airspace rules and regulations. + Passion, experience, curiosity, and a learn & grow mindset for the drone industry. + Hands-on skill flying in Stabilized Mode and performing manual maneuvers. + Good understanding of performing Mission Planning (utilizing checklist) and conducting pre- and post-flight inspection. + Understanding of FAA Incident Report process. + Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather and working on your feet. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Reliable team player (this team will be very collaborative with other pilots). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
