Position Summary
A highly skilled and experienced Payroll Implementation Specialist is needed to lead the successful transition of payroll operations from ADP to Paycom. This role is responsible for the entire implementation lifecycle, from data extraction and system configuration to testing, training, and go-live support. This ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout the process.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the payroll system conversion from ADP to Paycom, including a detailed implementation plan and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for a seamless transition.
Extract, validate, and migrate payroll data from ADP to Paycom. This includes employee records, earnings, deductions, taxes, and historical information, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Configure the Paycom payroll system according to specific requirements. This includes setting up pay rates, deductions, benefits, taxes, garnishments, and other payroll elements.
Design and execute comprehensive testing plans, including parallel payroll runs, to ensure the accuracy and functionality of the new Paycom system.
Provide training and support to payroll staff and other relevant personnel on the Paycom system and new payroll processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders during the implementation phase. This includes providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and discrepancies that arise during the migration and implementation process.
Ensure all payroll processes and system configurations comply with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll operations.
Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and process flows, to support the new Paycom system and procedures.
