Summary
Sales Manager for the Composite Flooring industry. Ideal locations for this position would be the Dutton, MI area or in the states of NC, SC, GA, & AL. This position would be responsible for covering the Composite Flooring industry nationwide. Base salary plus performance-based bonus. Starting salary is negotiable based on experience and knowledge of the Composite Flooring Industry and more. Duties include maintaining and building customer relations within market segment, boosting current customer sales, full customer engagement to meet customer satisfaction and standards. This is a Technical & Consultative type sales role.
Responsibilities
-Entrepreneurial mindset.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Excellent planning and time management skills.
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience a plus.
-Knowledge of woodworking processes or tools is a plus.
-At least two years of field sales, service, or technical support experience.
-Computer software experience including Microsoft Office Products preferred.
-Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record is mandatory for this role
-Ability to learn and develop a good understanding of company products and services to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
-Directly interface with current and prospective clients to gain understanding of current production processes, and where / how these products may enhance processes.
-Learn, understand, consultatively promote, and sell the (manufacturing) solutions, this organization has developed for this industry.
-Serve as company liaison with customers on all technical, sales, accounting, shipping and other administrative matters.
-Maintain daily contact with key customers, service representatives under your supervision, and customer service.
-Follow-up on sales orders to ensure timely delivery, acceptable performance and customer satisfaction.
-Stay abreast of market conditions and advise company officials of new and emerging customer needs.
-Manage customer base efficiently regarding direct interface and revenue potential.
-Work closely with HQ specialists to provide optimum solutions for customers.
-Generate agreed level of product and service sales within market segment.
-Responsible for development and growth of market segment.
-Prepare quotations for new and custom products.
-Facilitate technical assistance for client projects.
