Based in Fishers, Indiana, Carroll Wine & Spirits was established in 1990 to fill the niche as Indiana's purveyor of fine wines from select producers worldwide. Our mission is to source and represent fine wines and spirits from quality winery and distilleries, and provide them to our customers with unsurpassed service and responsiveness.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic account manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and building long-term relationships with our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a knack for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and present appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products/services to effectively communicate benefits to potential customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop strategies to attract new customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Participate in training to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is a plus.
