Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for tracking and monitoring shipments, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth transportation and logistics operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with customers, service providers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Track, trace, and monitor shipments; update status with detailed notes.
Perform clerical processes related to forwarding and logistics operations.
Process routine customer information in support of transportation, billing, and collections.
Monitor web, fax, and voicemail for service provider updates.
Maintain accurate data for specific customers, markets, and processes.
Assist coordinators, supervisors, and managers with daily business needs.
Escalate issues that may jeopardize a shipment’s success.
Confirm service provider charges and ensure accuracy of all costs and accessorial charges.
Support operations, sales efforts, contracts, and billing functions.
Adhere to company policies, including C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
Promote and uphold company core values.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or administrative support preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company systems.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.
